CFP Board Office Operating Remotely
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation and in an effort to protect the health and well-being of the staff and visitors in our DC office, CFP Board will operate on a virtual basis now through Friday, March 27.
Please be assured that we are not suspending or closing operations, and staff will continue to be available to you on a remote basis.
If you had an in-person meeting planned at our offices, your staff contact will be reaching out shortly with instructions on how to participate virtually.
March CFP® Certification Examination
On Tuesday, March 17, CFP Board’s testing administrator, Prometric, announced that it will be closing all testing centers in North America for at least the next 30 days, in an effort to protect the health and well-being of their staff and clients.
All CFP® exam registrants impacted by the Prometric closures will be rescheduled at no additional cost for the July 2020 CFP® exam administration, which is currently scheduled to take place from July 7-14, 2020. CFP Board will follow up with affected individuals after registration opens for the July exam.
Ongoing Monitoring
CFP Board is closely monitoring developments related to the COVID-19 situation and will take additional appropriate actions as needed to help protect the health of our staff, with continued service to our stakeholders.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we all work to address this rapidly changing situation. Please take care of yourself during this challenging time.
