Pro Bono Work a Priority for Future Planners, Survey Says

A survey by the Foundation for Financial Planning shows that aspiring financial planners value pro bono service, with nearly 90% committing to the industry standard of 20 hours of free work each year. Over 90% of the survey respondents are planning to earn their CFP® certification. CFP Board encourages all CFP® professionals to contribute at least 20 hours of pro bono service each year.
